Perfume collection P. Frapin & Cie Parfums are fragrances whose compositions are inspired by the history of the Frapin family, the founders of the cognac house Cognac Frapin. Cognac Frapin was founded by Pierre Frapin in 1870. By the middle of the 20th century Rémy Martin, Cointreau and Frapin were owned by the same family thanks to the marriage ties. In 1984 Béatrice Cointreau, daughter of Geneviève Renaud (heiress of Rémy Martin and Frapin) and Max Cointreau, becomes the managing director of Frapin.
