Tam Dao is a memory of a journey to the Indian East. A country of temples and spices, impenetrable jungles and sparkling precious stones. Mystical and magical, the aroma is filled with an almost narcotic attraction. The aroma "Tam Dao" was created in 2003 by Daniel Moliere and Fabrice Pellegrin. Tam Dao is not just a forest, it is a treasure trove of sandalwood trees, containing in their trunks a stunning enchanting aroma. This captivating eau de toilette contains an amazing and divine world, where the air is filled with the smells of the forest, fragrant sandalwood, tropical fog on the top of Tonkin, as well as temples where sandalwood is incense to the Gods.

One of the founders of diptyque, Yves Kouzlan, grew up in the French colony in Vietnam on the shores of the Gulf of Tonkin. This fragrance is dedicated to the freshness of the mountains and the scent of sandalwood in the Tam Dao National Park. The central note of the fragrance is sandalwood from Goa, India. The woody composition is enhanced by essences of rosewood, cypress, myrtle and camphor, and a note of dry cedar wood gives the aroma lightness. Accords of white musk reveal spicy notes and give the fragrance a rich sound.
